This program reviews the essential foundations of Project Management and provides the necessary information required to prepare for the PMP or CAPM exam. Participants will be able to: Evaluate knowledge against exam requirements and develop a future study plan Understand the importance of using the PMI Exam Content Outline as the baseline for achieving PMP certification Assess both predictive and agile management processes and implement a project management framework Complete hundreds of sample exam questions Students often take this program after participation in the UWM Project Management Certificate program. Participants should register for participation two weeks before the start of class.
Participants who complete this program may pursue the PMP(R) or CAPM(R) offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). To receive the PMP® or CAPM® credential, students must meet eligibility requirements, apply to PMI, and pass the test at a testing center through PMI. There are separate costs for testing paid to PMI. To prepare for the PMP exam, participants most also participants take the 2-day Project Management Foundations class to satisfy the exam prerequisite from PMI of 35 professional development hours. A full refund is issued to program participants if the School of Continuing Education cancels a program for any reason. If a participant withdraws at least 10 business days prior to the start of a program, a 100% refund will be issued. If a participant withdraws less than 10 business days prior to the program start, a one-time transfer of fees to any currently available program is allowed; otherwise, the participant will receive a refund minus a 20% administrative fee.

PLEASE NOTE:

Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
